I have dreams of one day occupying an entire floor once the kids have left home. Just me, my cats and my laptop – writing all day long whilst savouring the views.

So true. But on a happier note: have you seen the grand old art deco building on the corner of Berea and Hunt Rd, Glenwood? Someone is fixing it up, and I noticed some of that pastel-jade green so characteristic of the era going up too. Hope this restoration becomes a trend...!
